Discussion 7: Freedom issues

  • Should the internet be censored?
  • Should school prayer be allowed?
  • Should it be illegal to be a member of a gang or extremist groups (i.e. KKK, skinheads)?
  • Should alcoholic beverages be legalized for all ages?

  1. first of all, to get in to the Internet subject might lead us to too many questions and answers, and every one has his own idea and role when it comes to this.
In my opinion the internet was invented to make all communication easy and it did and now you can reach the whole world for less than a minute and you can discover and search with out going back to files and books, its a very good way of organizing our life and to fast the processing of doing, and make it more professional.
second of all, in the Constitution talks about the freedom of religion witch is " you can practice any religion or not practice a religion "
its very clear and powerful and doesn't need any explanation so they prayer in school must be allowed to every one and must be respected by others, thats the power of the freedom of the united states and thats whats make it number one country in the world when it comes to freedom.
third of all, when we want to talk about making the alcohol beverages legalized for all ages is stupid because the purpose of alcohol made for those who have a low self steam and they go to alcohol to forget about a pain or some one because they think that it will help but unfortunately they don't know thats its all go back to your brain and the way who you think about any issue and the way of finding a solution for it, and the way they made it to be legal for those who are over 21 made for reason that you are mature and you know the good and the bad of it, so i don't think it should be legalized for all ages and they should make it more limited.
at the end, this is only what i think and what i believe about those issues and i respect any one else have any other comment regarding this subjects.

  2. I definitely agree with Mohammed that exercizing faith is a right, but what about the atheist objects that other's practices infringe on their right NOT to believe?
